Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) Policy Scoping Study – Cambodia

Project Description

PAGE is a joint initiative of the ILO, UNDP, UNEP, UNIDO and UNITAR. It was launched in 2013 to support countries in building economies that are environmentally sustainable. The initiative leads and assists partnering countries in their transition to an inclusive green economy. Cambodia is one of PAGE's partnering countries. With financial support from UNITAR, CDRI is conducting a scoping study to inform PAGE of the critical policy areas it can support and the partnerships that are required to help accelerate the country’s just transition to an inclusive green economy. The study will help to ensure that PAGE supports both builds on and is aligned with the existing enabling environment.

The scoping study will be conducted using qualitative research method. The research team will do background analysis on macroeconomic secondary data and desk review of existing government policies to build a country profile for Cambodia. CDRI will also conduct fifteen key informant interviews (KIIs) and five focus group discussions (FGDs) with relevant stakeholders from the government institutions, international organizations, industries associations and other development partners working on the green economy in Cambodia.
