This month's seminar will cover the presentation of the recent study "STEM Teachers' Continuous Professional Development: Opportunities, Challenges, and Policy Implications in Cambodia".

Significant challenges impede educational development, including a shortage of qualified STEM teachers, insufficient training, and limited resources. In this regard, this study examines Continuous Professional Development (CPD) practices for upper secondary STEM teachers, evaluating the availability and challenges of existing programs to identify gaps and suggest policy improvements. The Challenges, such as large class sizes, exam-oriented learning culture, limited resources, and insufficient ongoing support, continue to hinder effective STEM integration in classrooms.
