In contemporary Cambodia, the pursuit of inclusive education is imperative, particularly in higher education, to fulfill international commitments such as the Sustainable Development Goal on education. Despite efforts by the Education Ministry to support disabled students, including those with visual impairments, challenges persist in accessing higher education.

This month, our speakers will share the research analysis on the obstacles faced by visually impaired students, including policy gaps, inadequate training for lecturers, and societal attitudes. By analysing current practices and interventions, the study aims to inform strategies for promoting equity and accessibility in higher education for visually impaired students in Cambodia.
