HENNY Möller Andersen
Henny Andersen is an economist with more than 35 years of experience from working with analysis and implementation of development cooperation - as a researcher through Stockholm School of Economics and with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and its EGDI (Expert Group on Development Issues), as well as at Swedish Embassies. In addition, she has worked as a consultant for multilateral and bilateral organisations. Her main focus has been on empirical and policy-related research and studies, with a growing interest in gender equality as an indispensable feature of socio-economic and democratic accountability. Her experience from South-East Asia dates back to the early 1980s, with involvement in Cambodia since the late 1990s. In her capacity as a long-term gender policy advisor to the National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development Secretariat (NCCD-S) she supported gender mainstreaming and the operationalisation of Cambodian gender equality policies.
