HING Vutha, Research Associate, Economy, Trade and Regional Cooperation Programme 

Mr Hing joined CDRI in October 2004 as a Research Associate in the Economy, Trade and Regional Cooperation Programme. His research interests are international trade, FDI, regional economic integration, and WTO-related issues. He is currently involved in producing the monthly Flash Report, the quarterly Cambodia Development Review and the Annual Development Review. He is also involved in a number of research projects including "Pro-Poor Tourism in the GMS" funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, "Trade Research Capacity Building Needs of Research Institutions in the Asia Pacific Region," and "ASEAN-China Free Trade Area and Implications for the Cambodian Agriculture Sector" funded by Oxfam America. 

Mr. Hing holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the National Institute of Management (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) and a Masters Degree in International Relations (major in International Economics) from the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan). His work experience includes having been Sales Representative for CamGSM Co., Ltd. (Mobitel), Sales Supervisor for Diethelm Co., Ltd (Consumer Product Division), and Project Development Advisor for IDP Cambodia.
