The CDRI library is a
comprehensive information center, providing access to a wide
range resources on socio-economic and development issues. The
library offers a user-friendly environment and modern technology
for the interested public.
The library collection is
classified by the Dewey Decimal System, used by most
international libraries. All items are easily accessible through
the NewGenLib library software that offers users multi-option
searches for required resource material.
The library offers memberships to
the public as well as email subscriptions.
The more than 10,000 titles
stored in the library include written, audiovisual, CD based and
web-based information as well as databases.
CDRI’s library is an important
resource for many policymakers, students, scholars, NGO’s,
research and academic institutions as well as visiting scholars
and consultants.
New titles are constantly
acquired through exchange, subscriptions, donation and deposits
from other institutions and multi-lateral organizations such as
the World Bank and ADB.
