Kelly Dorkenoo

Visiting Fellow

Kelly Dorkenoo is a PhD Candidate at Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS). Her doctoral research focuses on the differentiated socio-economic and ecological impacts associated with extreme weather events, and how they affect people and society. She holds a master’s degree in environmental management and policy from the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University; and bachelor’s degrees in international business administration from Montpellier Business School and applied economics from Paris South XI. Her previous work experience includes international policy and capacity building for climate action and implementation of the Paris Agreement outcomes related to climate adaptation. Kelly joined CDRI as a visiting fellow in January 2022 and her areas of interest are land-based resources and livelihoods, climate change, and inclusive development.
